The only product in this category ive used is valugard fast finish, which is fantastic...except i dont like that it separates after 6 to 8 months, which is a problem for me if i were to buy bulk.

Anyone have any other choices? It needs to be streak free, good on plastic, paint, rubber, etc...

Meguiars final touch a contender?

Optimum instant detailer and gloss enhancer is my current favorite.

I enjoy the wet effect that it leaves.

What are you wanting the spray to do?

I use ONR as a final touch up and detail spray.

This is by far my cheapest spray, but it isn`t a gloss enhancer

I would say v7 or z8 I have yet to find anything that tops either of them as a final detail spray.

Does v7 darken black exterior plastics? Thats one of the best things about fast finish

Not a big fan of CG products, but recieved a free bottle of V7--very impressive on top of Poxy and a great drying aid--very slick and drys with`no streaking even in cold temps.

I use ONR Wash & Wax, so I see no need to use a detail spray.`

Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer - you`ll be amazed by the water behaviour of that thing.

To me, it depends on what quality you want.

Like Scott, I use ONRww. I am looking into

CG speed shine because it is a wax free anti static

spray. I haven`t used this before, but it sounds

as if it would help dealer lots stay cleaner longer.

Clearkote Quikshine is still an excellent QD. Terrific gloss and slickness.`

The problem with V7 is it messes up beading. Either there is something in it that can harm wax or it leaves a sealant layer that just beads poorly. If you don`t mind that - it`s a great product.

There are a lot of great QDs out there. If your looking for something that gives super tight beading, I really like Sonax BSD or Wizard`s Mist & Shine. They win for beading.

If your just looking for something that doesn`t mess with beading Vic`s QD & Prima Slick are quite good. FK 425 is another very good one. Meg`s - meh.

Haven`t noticed this at all then again I`m using it as a drying aid over another sealant not a wax--seems to bead well in my case.

Seems like most are talking about performance on paint. How about trim, plastics, etc..thats what im most interested in

Sort of difficult, without knowing what features that you

want the spray to perform. Gloss, slicknesses, reflection, protection?
