This vehicle belongs to the owner of the Lamborghini I posted a few days ago (LINK HERE) (`http://www.autopia.org/forum/topic/132336-makeitshineca-lamborghini-lp650-4-100-pics/`). He was so happy with the way the Lamborghini turned out, he asked me to detail all three of his Range Rovers! This one is the first. It got pretty cold during this time, and I was also fighting a cold...lots of cold!` :lol:` So I took it easy and did this job over the course of a few days so that I could rest up and get healthy. No other work was booked as I was catching up on assignments and readings.

This client is located 2 hours away round trip. Also worth noting...the battery kept dying in the truck, so I had to organize some tasks according to when I really needed to move the truck. I left the truck running while taking photos, hence the dirty exhaust tips (polished after I put the truck back in the garage).

Anyways, this truck was TRASHED. Has only seen automatic cloth washes and cheap in & out places. This paint wasn`t too hard, and wasn`t too soft. It was pretty nice to work with overall. Chasing RIDS required M100 in some areas. Some areas of the rear bumper had very deep scratches, too deep to fix.

Some of the finished indoor pictures were edited for colour temperature, as they came out very yellow.

- Wash, IronX, Polyshave Decon Block + UWWC

- D300 + M105 with MFFP

- Bumpers corrected with M105 on Buff and Shine MFCP

- HD Polish on LC white

- IPA wipedown

- Eraser wipedown (I like the slickness that Eraser adds to the paint, makes application much nicer)

- Opti Coat Pro

- FlyBy30

Wheels, Tires & Wheel Wells:

- Sonax FE

- PBWS on wheels

- PERL on tires

- PERL on wheel wells

Interior:

- Thorough vacuum

- Leather steam cleaned & Protected with Lexol

- Wipedown with Megs Quik Interior Detailer

- Protected with 303

- Windows cleaned with IG

Thank you. In terms of hours - too many! LOL. Roughly 30 hours including the interior. Spent a lot of time on the front and rear bumpers as the cloth washes absolutely murdered the paint. I also was not feeling too well so I worked a bit slower.
