For about 7 years now I have used the Edge 200 buffing pads. For some reason they never gained much popularity (not sure why, I loved them) but they are all double sided and they do no use a backing plate. Rather, they use a quick-connect attachment which also helps perfectly center the pad as well.

`

It`s time for new pads and I can`t find these things ANYWHERE. I first found the pads through a company called SystemOne (now called System51), and also purchased them through autogeek as well. Now, they have disappeared from the market completely. Does anyone at all have any info on where I could still purchase these? If not, I`ll just move on and purchase a new pad system, but would rather not. Thanks in advance for your help...

We used to sell these, but they never caught on. We still have some blue one side/ yellow other side ones. Please pm me your address and quantity. Will send you a price quote.

After Adam (wasn`t that his name?) sold the company to 3M, 3M really didn`t promote Edge pads and they died out.` Not sure why 3M bought them.

True, but he moved on to bigger and better things; he was on Shark Tank a while back and got a deal for a new product that has apparently taken off fairly well.

I saw that episode where he was promoting the Scrub Daddy.

I was not blaming Adam at all, just noting that 3M bought the line and just let it die.

Ben, sorry it`s taken so long to see a reply to this thread. I`m still very interested in purchasing these. What size do you have, and are they wave or flat? Also pricing if I buy 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. Blue and yellow are the colors that I use the most of so that`s great. Is that al you have left?

I tried sending a PM but it said you could not receive them

LOL - Agreed! I used to use EDGE foam pads religiously prior to their quick connect system. Loved my Schmitt too!`

Hey` - aren`t the double sided 4" Cyclo pads (that work on a PC too) an Edge pad, maybe new owner but certainly his design. Anyway, it`s the only readily available example I see.
