3M Auto: Products for People Who Love Cars (http://3mauto.com/products/paint-defender)

Can anyone share their experience with this product? Or whether they think this product is worthwhile?

Did a search and didn`t find this already posted.

Another bump. Someone asked me about it over the weekend so I just looked it up. Looks pretty cool.

I read somewhere (probably on a thread here) that the 3M stuff takes a bit of doing when it`s time to remove it.

I just bought (but won`t be trying any time soon...) the WOLF`S (not Wolfgang) "spray-on mask" product, which supposedly washes off easily.

Wolfgang "spray-on mask" product

Which product is that?

I wonder what AG relabeled this time....

OOPS, my mistake :o ...it`s *WOLF`S*, not Wolfgang. Too similar and I`m not generally a user of either.

Here it is: Wolf`s “The Mask” Spray On Protection 500 ml. (http://www.autopia-carcare.com/wolfs-mask-protectant.html)

Ah, now it makes more sense. I hadn`t seen any signs of a mask-like product when I looked at the Wolfgang line so I was a bit confused....

I`ve applied to 6 cars so far. All newer, no chips on it. Pretty easy to do as long as you take your time. Haven`t taken any off. But I`d imagine its similar to taking off Plasti Dip. 2 cars I did the entire hood, the 2 front fenders, and front bumper.

Ronnie, how does it hold up to washing, LSPs and everyday life?

I got some feedback on that and all said its holding up well. This stuff isn`t much different than the 3M my local shop puts on. They guarantee it for life too. I did 1 coat of Z2 on 2 cars and the others just did a coat of 845. They all said it looks great. You can`t even tell where the crease is until you`re right up on it.

Interesting. Any tips on application? I ordered two cans, I`ll be posting a review shortly!

Watch the YouTube video on it. I reviewed that a few times before I did the first one.

Got it. Did you get any drips from the sprayer head? Seems to be a common complaint on Amazon.

Not a one.

How much product did you use doing a full hood? I bought it a couple months ago but haven`t gotten around to trying it. I have 2 cans...
