Maybe this isnt in the corrct place but its somewhere to start. My wool bonnets get dirty one each vehicle I do. The spur works to break up the fibers but id like to have a like new pad daily if possible. If the sool pads arent what to use what foam pads for clear coats and or faded paint surfaces. How about where to find true wool wash mits? Im usin the chennille wash mitt/pad, its works but should I be using the true wool products or maybe the microfiber was hpads? Do a search on wool mitts, there are som egood links and stuff.

On wool pads, I use the spur. Then I wash by hand and agititate with soap and a nylon brush.
Some products are more pervasive, so I keep a panel around the shop to work on when nothing else is going on. I test on the panel, and I have yet to not have it take off any last residue when the pad is dry.
