There are little rectangular vent holes located on the roof where the rear glass meets the roof. Since this car was painted I am assuming the little vent screens should be black instead of body colour. How do I get the paint off those little screens and what product would you recommend - Q tips come to mind as the applicator.

Just about anything that would cut the paint will also soften and maybe destroy the plastic. So, you might be better off painting those vents - check with a body shop in the area. Can you post a picture?

I think your suggestion about painting seems to be the best solution.

Thanks, Rob

not familiar with what ur speaking of but maybe you could replace them with oem vents if the cost is not to much.

They`re not plastic, they`re foam. Just replace them. I own two of those cars.

Yeh, I can see they are foam. Aren`t placing new ones difficult to position? What foam do you use?

What if I just shoot them lightly with black spray paint.

I have another question, since you mentioned you have two of these cars. The interior door trim on mine is rather splotchy and I have tried a couple of good quality products on them, but the splotchyness remains.
