Seems like all I`ve been doing the last few weeks is Big Boy Toys(pickups)! Lots of climbing and reaching, and tons of acreage! First up is a Ford F250, tons of not so seen mods(tuner, in dash laser radar, 45gal extra diesel tank, exhaust, turbo work). Owner has ONR`d it from birth. I Opti-Sealed it when he bought it and it`s used mainly for towing a camper and stored inside a climate controlled building. Still beads like I just sealed it and it`s still defect free! Not much to see so I took no befores. Owner wanted a 1 step but I talked him out of it. Save him some $$$.

Next `02 Avalanche. This is a referral from another customer of mine. The customer wanted a full correction and the "Tiger Trim" fixed. But the amount of work required to prep and fix the trim would eat into the full correction and the budget. So we settled on a 1 stepper and fix the trim. I always add 2-3 hours extra just for these Avalanche`s. This one didn`t disappoint. Spent almost 2 hours and 32 oz. of OPC at 2:1 strength cleaning all of it. Another hour applying the sealer. Got about 50% correction on the paint. It sees nothing but tunnel washes weekly so a full correction would be foolish unless Opti-Coat is applied. Interior wasn`t touched.

Dawn wash 3x`s

OPC 2:1 lots, trim, wells, tires

Clayed with CM

Flex 3401 OPT cutting MF pad and OPT HP

Flex 3401 OPT Polishing MF pad D301

VRT on the tires

After a few weeks I`ll revisit the owner and reapply sealer if need be and ONR the truck 1 more time. The bed cover is one of the worst I`ve seen, so I`m sure it will need more.

F-250 shows how important proper washing techniques are, looks great! Really nice job on the Avalanche too, trim looks 1000x better.

Great job, the avalanche looks completely different. All of that trim has to be a bear.

Huge trim turn around on the Avalanche. Were you able to work on them in the garage?

Thanks Scott. The only drawback to the Avalanche is the trim. It looks like crap if it`s not taken care of. Easy to polish, since the trim takes up most of what would be paint, of which is the low stuff.

Thanks David. Ford doesn`t fit, Av. I just backed half way in to treat the trim.
