Hi all, I`ve been lurking for a while and thought I`d finally make an account and post up.

I am a 18 y/o guy from Georgia that loves detailing. I`m not extremely into it but I like getting and keeping my truck clean.

As for what I drive, I have a 2003 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V8. It has Natural White (Code 056) paint which is a single stage (I think that is the correct term, if it isn`t then is doesn`t have a clear coat) paint which is slightly faded and oxidized, only on certain body panels (it was a pervious fleet vehicle, no accidents) and I have been trying to correct that (ill make a different thread for that in the appropriate section)

My first car (truck rather) was a 1998 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6. I lost her in a accident 2 moths after my mom gave it to me. Wasn`t my fault, a guy in a Honda Accord pulled out in front of me and I couldn`t stop in time.

Then bought a 2003 Toyota Highlander Base 2.4L 4 cylinder. Traded it in on my current 4Runner.

I always liked washing cars as a kid, but about 6-7 months after getting the highlander I started getting into waxing, doing complete interior details, etc. anyways here are some pictures!

Thanks!

Hopefully after the rain were expecting & the cold I have goes away ill be compounding, polishing and giving her a good wax & detail since December (we`ve had some really crappy weather lately) but until them it`s sitting around the house sick as a dog watching depressing T.V shows..... Heh.

Welcome! That accident pic looks pretty bad! These Toyota trucks run forever. Keep up the appearance and you`re set!

It was pretty scary. Hit him at 60 or so MPH and walked away. It had 136k miles and it had been in the family for 8 years. I was 16 and almost had to go to the hospital for a extreme panic attack. Just thankful no one was hurt, it could have been a lot worse than it turned out to be. That truck was quite a tank, and boy was it a life saver, literally.
