Full front clip was wrapped with Venture.

Tried out an air brush application of Opti-Guard. Applying this way uses a more product than application by pad. The trade off is that you can literally coat every possible spot that a pad can`t reach like cracks and crevices.

This was done back in July/August sometime and the owner has since reached out to me to tell me how happy he was with the Venture as well as the Opti-Guard.

What is that tool that you used to spray? How do you clean it so the Opti-Guard doesn`t clog it up and ruin the tool?

What is your review of the spray method - will you continue using it in the future?

Cheers!

I used an air brush hooked up to my compressor. I cleaned it up with laquer thinner.

More OG is used but honestly, I think it just may be an amazing way to apply it. There is more work all around applying this way. It took about a hour and half to apply to the whole car. Like I said though, you get every square inch this way and imo, it`s more thorough. If I do it again, I won`t do it for less than a hefty increase in price.

Thanks for the reply. So you airbrushed it on the whole car, or just tough to reach places? How much total did you use?

The whole car with exception to the windshield.

Maybe 8~10ml.

That`s really interesting. Do you feel more or less confident about the evenness and thoroughness of your coverage on larger panels? Did you already have a fair amount of experience with the airbrush? Is it something that can be picked up fairly easily?

Thanks for your patience with all the questions!

I worked 1 panel at a time and wiped up over spray on other panels immediately after finishing the panel I was working on. It came out really nice looking. No issues with it being uneven. A few weeks ago I spoke with the owner and he said he was incredibly happy with the og and the clear bra.
