The owner had some sort of clear bra that was quite frankly ugly on the car that had to come off. With only about 6,000 miles, the clear bra was already yellowing along with having some bad swirling and bug mark etching. I know it`s completely unheard of before, but this dealer demo had hammered paint from, no doubt, special dealership washes and acid rain.

Clear bra was removed from the front clip and the rear fenders. We wrapped the front clip and covered other bits with Venture.

2 bucket wash w/ perls

pretreat with p21s

wheels cleaned with wheel woolies and sonax

dried with forced air

There were no absolutes in the correction. Most of the car did fine with d300 and mf pad. Some of the spots needed purple foamed wool on rotary w/ m105 for heavier correction. To be candid, the areas that have the most complex curves like the fenders, work fast with a rotary anyways. A D/A just doesn`t work hard curves as good, imo. Followed up with orange pad/SIP and grey pad/Menzerna FF. Stand alcohol wipedowns, ect. The paint`s depth did not allow for 100% correction on every spot but we still made an incredible improvement.

All topped off with Opti-Guard.

Tires 3 coats of UTTGP

Though not pictured, he got a full interior detail and leatherique treatment. The only spot not touched was the engine bay.

This was documented with a new camera that I was still getting familiar with(for example the bokeh in the video was not a good choice). Between the video and the gallery though you can get a decent idea of what was going on with the car.

We also did a full restoration, opti-guard and interior detail on their 3-series(in the last picture).

When working around a sunroof, I will tape to one side of the trim, restore, then tape the opposite direction so that we can get the best results without chancing unnecessary damage to the trim. The sunroof bit has not received correction in this picture but the other portion of the roof has. You can see the heavy scratch cleaned up next to the tape.

The owner was having a lot of work being done to his property throughout the days we were working on his cars. We could not open up the garage or pull the car out to inspect due to ash falling from a huge fire. But we did get some nice sun through some windows and of course, due-diligence with the process.

Amazing work as always! :bow

What has surprised me with Opti-Guard/Coating is how good it looks on red. I was afraid early on it would have too much of a sealant look on colors like red but it doesn`t. :)

Thanks Scott.

OG definitely looks amazing on this car. I reached out to the owner a week after we did his cars to see how he liked all of it after having time to reflect on the quality and the price and he said he is blown away. Once they wash the car with OG they love it even more.
