Who has taken their UDM apart?

I took the 3 screws out of the UDM that backing plate screws into because it felt like it had a little bit of a wobble. As you can see below what was inside. It was kind of a chalking black powder. Was this originally some sort of lubricant? Should I put anything back in there when I put it back together?
