I had the privileged to detail this very badly swirled, oxidized, water spotted, 1995 red blazer. I say privileged because i got to try out some new products that i have been meaning to put to the test MENZERNA FG400, HD Advanced Polish,Harbour freight da polisher.

So, to begin I kinda did a mini review/comparison of FG400 and my goto m105 to see if it really gave me the cut i needed with various different pads.

Before anyone gets to excited about a great long review about these two products i have to say i am terrible at taking pictures and showing the variance

in correction and haze was very difficult to capture so you will have to go on mostly on what i say, :( although i did take quite a few pictures.

This care was horrid you really had to be there to see how bad it was.

Summary fg400 vs m105

Fg400 is now my new goto compound cut is about the same as m105 maybe a bit more but its so smooth when buffing goes along way very little dust finish was great for the cut it gives and wipeoff even when worked for along time was easy especially in comparison to m105. Now dont get the wrong idea i love m105 used it for a very long time and its still today one of the best compouds on the market not to mention its cheap! but this new fg400 just feels more advanced i love this stuff!

Summary harbor freight da polisher

I bought this machine because my beloved gg 6inch da broke :( and i heard about this polisher on this Forum. I read it was comparable to the hd polisher (cant comment if it is or not because i have never tried the hd polisher) and it was local and cheap. Im going to get straight to the point is it better than the gg6inch?

no I would say its more comparable to the pc 7424xp (in my opinion a little better) which i also have. The lack in torque is something you definitely feel i can stop the pad with a little effort but was it worth it ? YES! every penny this was something along the lines of 60$ with a 2 year warrantie and it feels very quality built (time will tell) it feels very solid if i were trying to get someone new into polishing paint i would tell them to pick this machine up no question! you just cant beat this price.

summary HD advanced polish

Now I didnt take any comparison pictures but i can tell you with all honesty this is the single best polish i have ever used ! 3d has a huge winner with this product! cut is a little less than m205 but the workability the finish and wipe off i have even used this in full California sun and this stuff just kept going ! its just great im going to order more of this stuff very soon. :smile1:

Now back to the car

here are some more swirly pictures

Great 3 in 1 review. Best to test these products on beater vehicles. You need to compare M101 against FG400. I see the bail handle on the HF PC and I assume it was from your old GG6 since the HF has only straight handle from what I`ve seen. Good job and photos too.

Thank you very much. Yes i have been itching to try m101 i have heard nothing but great things about it. You would be correct :) that is from my broken gg6inch i just got used to the bail handle being there and i like that it lifts the pad higher off the ground keeping it sturdy
