Don`t know how long ago the bra was removed from this `03 (the customer just purchased it), seems like it`s been this way for years, but the residue won`t come off with 3M Adhesive remover:

So, at the risk of getting banned from the forum, I tried a little D300 on a MF towel, rubbed it in by hand, and while it appears to do the trick (mostly) what`s left is what looks like, for lack of a better term, large areas of orange peel. which I`m guessing is still more of the glue, but polished. Y/N? Any suggestions for glue that`s been sitting for ages?

And while I`m at it, searched and couldn`t find any definitive techniques for correcting/polishing the coated roof of AllRoads. So any info here would also be appreciated.

So I mis-read the finish. :embarassed: What I thought was glue was actually the clear coat. It has some sort of ripples in it; and maybe what looks like the beginning of some sort of lifting (?)

Anyway, after sanding, I went at it with 105/205 and a polish.

There still is some sort of dullness in one area ( I don`t think it`s visible in the images) that I just can`t seem to correct.

That white line in the last image is a vapor trail.
