2003 BMW M3 and 2011 Ford F-150. The M3 is a street/track car so absolute perfection isn`t worth the time or $$$ but the owner still likes to keep the paint glossy and protected. The F-150 is a recent purchase, he wasn`t happy with how bland the paint looked. Neither car had any serious swirling (I`d detailed the M3 several months ago anyway) so one step was enough to bring the paint to the level the owner was looking for.

2012 Chevy Corvette Gran Sport. Recent purchase, owner saved thousands of dollars buying it very lightly used with only 1000 miles on it. He had noticed some spider swirling on the horizontal surfaces and wanted them removed/reduced as much as practical without going too overboard. He works in Austin and lives in the Dallas area so he is home 2 weeks, in Austin for 6. The plan is to go over the car ever second return to Dallas, which will put the car on a 3 month schedule. Made a lot of progress on the paint today, wants to keep doing the same each time until the swirls are 100% gone, then have me apply Opti-Coat. I guess its easier to justify the cost of a full on correction if you can spread it out over several months.

First group of pictures I took with my cell phone, the second group with my digital camera. For some reason my digital camera has trouble with red, but at least this time it was just a touch dark instead of the car looking pink. Anyway, I decided to post both sets of pictures since some of the ones with my cell phone seem a little bright. The real truth is somewhere in between the two.

Cars look great as always, is the optimum nano skin clay pad some sort of promotional product?

Its in testing stages, looking into how aggressive it should be and how well they will hold up.

Mmm...love the silver BMW. They all look great, as usual. Can`t wait to hear what David has up his sleep next week at SEMA.

I`m sure there is stuff I don`t know about, I was kind of surprised by the wax version of ONR.

Look great Scott! Can you adjust the F stop on your point and shoot? That should help with the reds.

If I set the exposure compensation to -.7 it really seems to help. Still playing around with it trying to get it as close to perfect as possible.
