Hi all. Long time since I posted here. I recently picked up an 07 Lexus ES350 and have been trying to figure out and master the paint. It`s black single stage and was not cared for well by the last owner. After trying several things with minimal results, I finally moved on to M105 and ultimate compound via my 7424 PC (old model) which demolished all of the defects. Much appreciation for the creators of that formula!
Anyway I`m now working on the gloss factor. I`ve tried a few different combos with no real luck in getting that (I`ve tried with a finishing pad and a white polishing pad). How exactly does the new yellow formula compare to the old pink one? And I`ve considered using M205 but read a lot of reviews about the polishing oils (sounds like much more than in the 105) that gloss but eventually show the real surface.
I tried a search but it appears that SSR products aren`t used as much as they used to be. Thanks!
