So after about a year of detailing here and there and a couple months browsing this forum, I finally got around to posting my first detail thread :dance There was a great special on autogeek.com over fourth of July weekend and I couldn`t pass it up, I got a bunch of new products that I used on my brothers Mustang last weekend. Car needed some serious loving. This was a wash, clay, sealant, wax, and interior detail. Any comments or suggestions welcome, Thanks!!

Products used:

CG Citruswash

CG Diablo Gel

CG Grime Reaper

CG Trim Gel

CG Metal Shine

Medium Clay bar

CG Luber

CG Glassworks

Megs 301 w/ MF Pad

M201 w/ White Foam Pad

Black finishing pad (apply sealant)

Smart Dressing

Wolfgang Sealant 3.0 + 15 hour cure time

Dodo Juice Supernatural

Various Brushes

2 Bucket + Grit Guard

MF Wash Mitt

WW Drying Towel

IPA Solution

So here is the car prior to starting the detail...Started with the 2 bucket wash, clayed, IPA wipedown

Well, I`d have to say a fine job for your 1st post!

It looks a heckuva lot better than it did when it showed up!

I have a severe unexplained dislike for mustangs(especially late model) so I will try not to hold that against you in future posts?! :)

Thanks Dean, appreciate it!!

And Im curious, if you aren`t a Mustang guy, what kind of cars are you into?

I`m a Honda guy... Cars, motorcycles, pressure washer(s), generator, push mower... If I had the spare $ I`d own a Honda compact lawn tractor too?! I just like smaller cars in general and see way too many mustangs on the roadways?!
