LookiNg for some tips on removing chewing gum from suede! Ice? Other than that?

Yeah, that may work, but a quality, "solvent based" fabric protector, sprayed on and allowed to dwell for a few minutes will break the resin of the gum and cause it to powder.

Vac it away when it is dry.

Alcantara® Ultra suede™, Ecsaine, Micro suede, etc) are not types of leather but are in fact in synthetic materials, it is made from extremely fine polyester (68% polyester and 32% urethane) it has the appearance and tactile feel similar to that of suede, and it may be incorrectly identified as such.



To remove gum from Alcantara® sponge with a clean terry towel soaked in isopropyl alcohol

I have always used compressed air, can turned upside down. Freezes the gum then you can brush away.

Several years ago I tried a piece of ice, hardened it enough to where it rubbed off with a terrycloth towel. I wonder if different types of gum react differently?

Liquid Nitrogen always works well. Just freeze it and pull it off.
