I have a 1994 Subaru SVX coming in for a complete this coming week. It was painted by MAACO a couple years back upon inspection of the car today I seen a lot of dust/dirt in the paint and clear, I was figuring a 1500>3000 grt sand to "de-nib" the paint. I know I can`t remove a lot of paint because the low quality work but of course I will do a small test panel and measure the paint. Do you guys have any testiments against doing this? This will be my first major de-nib job, I have wet sanded entire cars before so it wouldn`t be to much different right?
