Hey guys, been wanting to join for a long time now. I`m 21 and when I got my first car 3 years ago I wanted to do all the care for it myself. I didnt have the money to do anything extreme, so I started at the bottom, with OTC products like meguiars deep crystal wash(which i found great for the money), cleaner wax, etc. Well, I finally bit the bullet and ordered from autogeek! heres my order summery:

I wanted to get it all out of the way, and where possible, get the larger quantities of things that will run out quicker than others. I figure all of that should last me quite a while. Once it comes, my car will be my guinea pig, then my dads milan is next. I have been reading up here a lot and cant wait to give it a try first hand, since up to now polishes and waxes have been done by hand. I have my share of swirls so I am really looking forward to results. let me know what you think and shout out of anyones from MA!

again dont be fooled! that was after a wash and wax, but it needs a polish badly! Tuxedo black is a very nice color and I hope to really learn a thing or two from the detail.

oh yeah, one other thing:

my car got hit and they scuffed the bumper good, so I may even play around with wetsanding a little bit if m105 doesnt clean that up enough to look acceptable to my standards! thanks again for all the welcomes!

well work has been busy so I havent been able to correct my car much, but today I went out to see what I could do about my rear bumper. Heres a pic to remind you:

I went at it with a yellow pad and 105, and ended up with this:

quite an improvement if I do say so myself! Not looking to correct it any further at this time, just gonna 205 over it and wax and call it a day. Not ready to jump into wetsanding. works for me anyway!

Big improvement, no doubt! Good job.

Just an FYI: MA will make you fresh plates for $10 a pop :) You have to telephone them for this type of transaction.
