Being a sweaty mess can really ruin a detail for me. Im not that good at stopping to drink while detailing so when I am a sweaty mess I end up feeling extremely taxed. So, I finally got AC!

15`000 BTU in wall frigidaire..... It is paying for itself during today`s job!http://img.tapatalk.com/62d19a3b-11e2-83dc.jpg

I agree. Looking around now at some. The problem for me is the 20ft ceilings with 1300 sq ft. Luckily there is a big 240v fan that can be removed and a unit can replace it. Just needs enough btu`s to not run non stop.

Why not be comfortable while working if you can manage it? Certainly beats heat stroke....

Don`t worry about ceiling height, cold air sinks. If you have an exhaust fan up top that would help. I have ~30" ceilings at my shop, they`ve never been an issue with the A/C.
