Don`t have access to an air compressor so I clean foam pads on the fly with a towel and denture brush--works great, but I`m going to pick up a few Optimum MF Cutting pads and was wondering can I clean them effectively on the fly using the brush and/or towel without damaging the MF pads???

Depending on where you order it from, you get a brush with it. Works very well, not damaging to the pads. Use it

I use a Meguiars Triple Duty brush. Works like a charm.

I use the Megs pad conditioning brush, might be called triple duty, not sure, but it works fine if you don`t have a compressor handy.

Thanks for your replys!! Do you brush the MF with the pad rotating or stationary?

I use it in the off mode - holding the plate from the bottom

I know this will be an unpopular reply, but here I go anyhow:

Buy a cheap compressor. I bet even the $39.95 one at Harbor Freight would work OK. I consider a compressor to be pretty much an indispensable tool anyhow.

OK, OK...sorry :o

I agree, but just to clean the pad, the brush that comes with them works fast enough and good enough.
