Keep in mind I get a 10% discount at Lowe`s & Home Depot (which helps the 8%+ sales tax). I`m looking for an electric PW for this thing we all do here and have narrowed it down to 3 (however am open to ideas, would kind of prefer local purchase since electric pressure washers are usually hit or miss in reliability).

Shop Greenworks 1700 PSI 1.4 GPM Electric Pressure Washer at Lowes.com (http://www.lowes.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10151&catalogId=10051&cId=SEARCH&productId=3295400&cm_mmc=SCE_gps-_-gps-_-gps-_-Greenworks%201700%20PSI%201.4%20GPM%20Electric%20P ressure%20Washer&CAWELAID=1117755724)

Thanks in advance!

They are all pretty much throw aways....

Are you trying to stay within a certain budget?

The HD and Lowes units are pretty similar. Both have a decent wand. The Amazon one is rinky dink IMHO. The main problem is they don`t move enough water. The pressure is fine though. I`d buy both, test them and see which is better and return the other.

Are there any non-throwaway electric pressure washers? :D I was just going with what was close and planned on buying the extended warranty through Lowes/HD and just expect to need it. Honestly it will mostly just get used for wheels/wheel wells/engine bay/floor mats. The amazon one just looked like the shiniest of the turds I could find on there, however I do prefer to buy something like this locally since it`s not something I would like to ship back for warranty work...

I think I would avoid the last one. People seem to complain about the reel and hose, trust me a stiff hose is a pain(I like to easily move it as I walk around a car).

To me the second one looks well built, possibly the best(not sure), but it looks like its a bit cumbersome compared to the others.

I have the very first one and love it! It has a 35ft cord like the 2nd one but the hose is 20ft(first one is 25ft). Its pretty light weight but solid, the reals for the cord and hose work perfectly and helps keep a clean setup. I love the design because it fits into my trucks tool box. You will need to buy two extra 25ft hoses and I have never used two at once but I always need at least one, so thats 45ft. 25ft just isn`t enough to walk around the car without moving stuff around. Link for hoses below, they come with adaptors which screw into the stock hose and the gun. I tried for over a hour in the store to get a larger hose with adaptors but it wouldn`t work, so I recommend two of these.

1/4 in. x 25 ft. Extension Hose for Gas Pressure Washers-AE31012 at The Home Depot (http://www.homedepot.com/Outdoors-Outdoor-Power-Equipment-Pressure-Washers-Pressure-Washer-Accessories/h_d1/N-5yc1vZbxc1/R-100669160/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&storeId=10051)

I have had it for a year and haven`t had any real issues. I have nocked it over, etc its fine. Used it to clean my moms patio while not intentionally giving it breaks and it was fine. Until about a month ago about every 30 seconds for 1 second it turns on to keep pressure, I assume I just need to change a O-ring. Even if I just got a new one it has easily payed for itself. I also bought this foam cannon and use it for detailing, it works wonderfully(link below). I have never used any detergent, I just use the foam cannon and then put my soap in one of my two buckets when I wash.

Any other questions just ask

Whatever one Costco is selling is the answer here. They`ll all die within 2-3 years. Save the receipt!

I have one of these units, and they are excellent. Very durable machine. We use it as a back up machine.

JohnKleven- Hey, those are some nice specs for the money, especially the gpm.

How does the chemical injection work?

Yes it`s a great machine. We had it as our primary machine for 2 years being run every day without a problem. I haven`t tried the chemical injection, we just use a foam cannon. I don`t like to buy machines that aren`t worth fixing. Since this uses a good quality pump with replaceable parts, it is worth purchasing and servicing.

The one John linked to would be my choice if I did not score a used Kranzle K 1120T (http://www.detailersdomain.com/Kranzle-K-1120T-Cold-Water-Electric-Pressure-Washer_p_446.html) for $525 shipped.

AR Blue Clean 610 here.

I`m looking to get this one when my AR112 dies. I wanted something small and portable, and I didn`t expect much out of it but it`s been going strong for over a year. I wouldn`t hesitate to buy another AR product.

Do NOT buy the Greenworks under any circumstances. I bought one last summer, had to replace it 4 times and every single unit broke within a 3 weeks and would constantly trip circuits. Last time I checked Lowe`s had stopped replacing them since they were breaking so much, I`m surprised they still carry them.

I`ve since picked up a Rigid 3000PSI, it`s great but I still wish I could find a decent, low-priced electric one so I don`t have to go through the hassle of gas, oil, choke, and pulling the cord just to foam a car for 3-4 minutes.

Got the post in about the green works a little too late. I had to go to Lowe`s for a weed whacker reel and just decided to pick up a PW. Sadly after opening it, I quickly realized they don`t normally pack these things with grass and dirt, so obviously it was a returned item. Oh well, at least I bought the extended warranty.

I didn`t want a gas powered unit for the sole purpose of needing to start it for only the small amount of use needed. I`m fine with a lower psi consumer electric washer, keeps me from doing some damage :)

That`s kinda neat how the Kranzle has onboard storage for all its stuff. I just know that`d make my life easier even though I *want* to think it wouldn`t be a biggie.

Gee, wonder what I`ll end up getting if/when I finally do go shopping?!? :nixweiss I sure appreciate the responses from you guys who`ve put yours through some good hard use.
