Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection is this a good product????? "Unlike a polish, it contains no cleaning or polishing agents and should only be used on clean, dry, blemish-free paintwork, ideally pre-treated with Autoglym Super Resin Polish." Anyone???? Thanks typing mistake corrected.

Do you mean the Extra Gloss Protection (EGP) or the newer HD Wax, both of which can be applied after SRP. But, to answer your question, I think they are good products

EGP is good stuff. A durable sealant with 1% carnauba for added warmth.

Here are a few pics from cars I did this week. Both cars were clayed and given a single stage polish with Power Finish before applying one coat AG Extra Gloss Protection.

This was water beading right after wiping EGP off the car.

This beading was the next day.

EGP is a great product. The main thing to remember is to get it on thin. Very thin. You can get 6 months of protection from a single coat on a properly prepped car. Always a good idea to use AG Super Resin Polish first. Acts like a paintwork cleanser.
