Dear Autopians,

I`m looking for detailers (relevant content, very important) with nice looking websites and quality content to swap direct links. If you check my website I`ve got a `Links` page and I`m planing to add your link there, as long as you have a good CONTENT RICH website and a PageRank of at least 1 (recognized by Google) and a links page from your homepage.

Of course we have to exclude direct local competitors from the offer.

The other offer is a Facebook page like exchange. It is important to be popular on facebook and just mentioning one of the reasons - if a client is searching for a detailer online and ends up on your fb page you will look much better with lots of likes.

This isn`t just about my site, this can also be useful to anyone here like a detailer in Texas may not like my website and not want to exchange links with me but can exchange a text link with a detailer in Los Angeles or London for example and both would benefit from it over local search competition, giving you "extra points" with search engines and helping you rank higher and strengthen your website.

The easier way to do it would be anyone interested just post here and if others like your site and want to exchange links and facebook likes just send a private message.

There`s nothing wrong with this type of link building, this is a "white hat" practice as we exchanging free links between related content sites to increase traffic and popularity. :nerd1:

I checked your website, you havent got a `links` or `resources` page to link back to me. You can ask your web designer to add a page for you. It`s extremelly simple. Let me know if you`re interested.

Have you got a FB page?

If you`re really looking to up your Like count on Facebook you may want to check with some local radio stations to see if they do Facebook contests. I did one with a Hartford station. For $100 and a prize that I supplied (for mine I did a full detail) they announced on their FB page that I was doing a contest and to enter they had to Like my page and write a phrase on my wall. Then the radio station picked a random winner. I believe in 2 hours I got over 100 new Likes, most of which have stayed. If you scroll way down on my page you will see all the people that entered the contest writing the phrase on my wall.

That`s a good idea. Our winter special for December - February was "No tax on any purchase for Facebook fan page members only". I`m looking to get mine up to 500-1000 this year and can start running marketing campaigns soley to Facebook and Twitter followers. If you have a twitter account make sure you connect it to your Facebook page so it will automatically post your Facebook updates to twitter as well
