I am a complete newb to this, and this is in fact my first car.

When I bought it there were these white spots of varying size all over the car. My dad seems to think it is tree sap of some kind.

I used some Repo Care care auto polish and cleaner, which seemed to have removed the spot, I come back a day later and the spots have reappeared in what seems to be different positions.

They appear on Windows, paint and even plastic surfaces.

In the sun you can`t really seen them on the paint until you look at it from a certain angle, but at night they are fairly visible.

I`ve done this 3 now and the spots keeps reappearing.

I am not 100% sure this is related, but it was on both the wipers

Can you feel the spots if you gently run a finger nail over them?

Parts, like the wiper are acid, corrosion degradation, etc, ate away the paint on the wipers.

Others, some are acid etch that ate through the clear/base/primer/ecoat.

Other is latex overspray. Splochy, uneven, seems to be on the suface deposits.

That is what may be somewhat incorrect due to the photos, but when seen from the quality of the photos, point to these three conditions.

But, then again, as happens so often on this site, folks ask for advice without providing the most basic of information such as--

Age of vehicle.

Brand of vehicle

Where it is located, and what enviorment.

Bought new or such, and if used, from a large dealership or a "pop-lot".

All is important information to have in order to be a "long ways away" detective.
