Hello!
I have purchased some Turtle Wax Polishing Compound (http://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Wax-T-417-Polishing-Compound/dp/B000NWKXRU), and am wondering the differences between it and Meguiars Ultimate Compound / Polish.
I know that the TW uses linear abrasives, while the Meguiars uses SMAT, but can I still achieve the same results? I`m assuming that I should just make sure that I work the product in fully in order to make it look its best.
The Meguiars polish also contains some oils for the paint; something that the TW lacks. Would this really make a difference on a black car (2003 Toyota Avalon)?
It may be important to know that I have no experience detailing, and have never polished a car before. I will be using an orbital buffer.
