Every car is going to be different!

With that known and out of the way, how about creating a DB that will lump some basic info on year/make/model known problems or what to expect.

EXAMPLE:

7th Generation Honda Civic

Applies to all colors

Clear coat failure noticeable with "crows feet" on hood, roof and trunk

Paint & clear even, but low readings in door jambs and rear bumper cover

Best to have some type of extension to clean inside windshield

For the members that have detailed multiple vehicles of the same brand, generation and model; it could come in handy for users to view.

hard clear

soft clea

carpet is a pain

leather is a bit more like cardboard from the factory

plastic trim extremely prone to fade *nissan*

adhesive on badges prone to failure

remove door sill covers when cleaning carpet for best results

side view mirrors hold lots of water. best blow them out with air before waxing car

life saving info for 1 member, but worthless for the masses

ALWAYS having the disclaimer that every car is going to be different, but in members experiences; this is what you might see.

thoughts?
