I accepted a Product Test Engineer job at Johnson Controls in Milwaukee, so it`s time to leave Buffalo. I`m pretty excited about this job and life after grad school (ack!). It`s difficult to leave my hometown, though. Buffalo has been good to me, but it`s time to move on.

In true Autopian fashion I waxed my car yesterday for the drive.

Corey Bit Spank- Hey, good to see you posting, and I`m glad you found an appealing job.

Do you already have a place lined up in Milwaukee?

Yes! Some guy at UW-Milwaukee is going to Fiji for a semester so I took over his lease until the end of May.

Congrats on the job and move. At least you`ll be upwind of lake effect snows now.

If you find yourself missing Buffalo eats Bocci Club ships. Don`t know about the Anchor Bar and beef on weck probably doesn`t travel well.

I`ve been paying taxes since I was 15. :P

Move went well. 15 year old car made it without any problems. Only one surprise with the new apartment, but it`s a minor parking issue that I can be flexible about. The area I moved to seems to be pretty awesome, and the lake is only a few minutes run away. I`m excited to start my job next week, even if it`s a little scary.

Thanks for the positive vibes, everyone!

Yeah, I was thinking that too!

Corey Bit Spank- What`s the "minor parking issue"? :nervous:
