I am doing a post delivery detail on a 2012 C250. While preping the wheels for OC, I noticed that water was beading like there was a coating on them. This is following Diablo wheel cleaner and Iron-X. Seemed like there should have been no beading. Is this just the particular paint that they use, or could there be some sort of coating to keep brake dust from adhering to the wheel?
