I went to AutoZone to get some wheel cleaner and walked out with a few extras. They had a `Buy 2, Get 1 Free" offer on Meguiar HotShine products so i took advantage of that ;)

I thought I`d try out a new mitt too. It`s a Viking MF. And, I got some wheel brushes.

I spent 28 bucks (and some change) total. Could I have done better buying from the internet?

What are the general thoughts of the products shown? Don`t be shy, be honest ;)

I tend to believe that you don`t have to spend a ton of money on obscure products to obtain satisfactory results. I personally love Mother`s and Meguiar`s products...
Good find on the sale too!

I personally use the Meg`s HOT Tire Shine Aerosol exclusively since i really like the results it gives and it`s ease of application. I signed up to receive a free sample of the Hot Shine foam so i am hoping it does what it says. I have big mud tires and at car shows I have been using the No Touch Tire Foam on the knobby area and i hate the way it runs that milky white stuff. Supposedly the Hot Shine foam does not do this.

And it doesn`t ;) I sprayed my Explorer tires and they turned out really nice. I think I need a second coat but that`s just because they were not washed with soap and water first.

There are a lot of great products that are available in your local stores. The only product you bought I would think you might want to reconsider is the wash mitt. I can`t tell for sure from the picture, but it doesn`t look like it has that much knap. Short knap could trap dirt between the mitt and the paint causing micro marring.

It`s a microfiber mitt. Should it have any knapp?

Yes it should be a longer nap if used to wash your car. Scott from SMP has a Gold MF Mitt that is suppose to be for washing cars without trapping any dirt within the mitt..one of the Members at DC did a review and posted some Pics.

i did a search for you and i am providing a link for you to view. Hope this helps.
