Rained last night, again this morning, drove 70 miles on damp to wet roads through some drizzle and light rain.

Protected by Opti-Coat, plus I mix in an ounce of OCW with ONR when I wash. Can`t believe how clean it stays even with a color that tends to hide dirt.

You must do a good job staying away from DPS with running no front plates. No hassle for that yet?

Washed it Sunday, took the picture yesterday (Friday). Just stays cleaner with Opti-Coat, others have noticed it on their vehicles as well.

lostdaytomorrow-cops only tend to stop for that if they are looking for a reason to stop you.

They don`t call it `salt` lake city for nuttin. Freaking winter here sucks. It snows, they dump a crap load of salt on the ground, it warms up and the snow melts, then the salt laden slush sprays up all over your car. You can see that the top half of the car is clean. That is just what happens driving on the roads on sunny days around here. Stupid winter...

350 Miles, major construction on the main roads its used on, and several rain storms:

Heh heh, seems like most Autopians don`t really know from "dirty" :chuckle: I mean...if you can clearly tell what colors the wheels and paint are, it`s not all that dirty :grinno:

Other than the caked mud on the tires, fueler`s SUV looks like my vehicles do at certain points during the winter. No, they don`t *stay* like that for long, but they do get that bad. See why I make such a big deal out of my marring-free washes? ;)

hehe. i got in trouble at the do-it-yourself pressure wash place too.... they caught me blasting gobs of mud off my undercarriage, made me clean the stall up. i filled up half a trashcan with mud! And after spending $25 in quarters, my suv is STILL not clean!!!

Good gosh! People who don`t EVER wash their cars in my neck of the woods don`t have cars that get to look as bad as that last one in particular! The level of dirtiness is all relative to our location and lifestyle.

Using LSPs that help shed dirt make mar free washing a lot easier!
