Back in August purchased 2004 Disco II with 35k miles on the clock. Had independent Rover shop do 30,000 mile major service and replace few items like Drive Shaft Rubber Coupling, ABS Modulator Valve, Rear Brake Pads, Rotors and then began working on the exterior appearance. Faded plastic, scratches, swirls, water spots, old brake dust, wheel flares a mess.

Removed wheel flares with heat and cleaned away residual glue (nightmare job) polished, ISP wipe down and applied new flares. Washed, clayed, polished with UNO and microfiber pad. Followed by Poxy on black pad. Adam`s Super VRT, Black Wow and WD 40 on various plastic pieces. Polished glass. Not perfect by any means but pretty happy with results so far. Will continue fine tuning. Really enjoyed working this truck and experimented with wet sanding and some other processes I had never tried, makes a great test mule.

Looks great - that is incredibly low mileage for a 2004.

Looks beautiful. I love Land Rovers and looked into them recently but they were over my budget. I ended up with a 4Runner. Trucks are fun!
