Any experience with this?

Ultima Paint Prep Plus (http://www.ultimafinishcare.com/ult-4012-120.html)

How does it finish out?

Should I use this as my last stage polish/prep/jeweling with say a red CCS pad? I am using a rotary so speed advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

you linked it to the lsp. guessing thats not what you asking about. the prep product seems to be an aio type product.

Use it as finishing polish, but it`s very pad dependent. In other words, it`s less aggressive than you think. I removed fine swirls with an orange pad and left it LSP ready. I think a red pad is too gentle to work the polish. Maybe something a bit more aggressive like a black or white pad. What are you working on?

White pad seemed to do the trick. Thanks a bunch. I find this kind of odd to work with....still learning I suppose. I wonder how PPP would react to PFW....??

Used some on my personal car just yesterday. The finish was already where I wanted it after M105 & PO85RD and didn`t notice any improvement (or degradation). I used it for its claimed ability to prime the surface for UPGP.

Yup that is what I was doing. Played with the white pad and now the gray CCS pad. The gray pad seems to leave a brighter finish, but it may be that I worked it a bit longer. Going gray in the future when prepping for UPGP.

BTW, don`t use my reply as a point of reference. I was applying it as one would an LSP just for the priming effect, thus no real polishing. Sure looked like a million dollars after the UPGP though...

I will have 6 coats before I finish. 12 hours apart.
