Owner had been off and on in touch with me for the last two months about getting his cobra back to looking like it should. Finally we were able to get a solid time to get it done. Owner had me come out and knock out my 2-Step Package on the Cobra, plus wanted to get the rims waxed, exhuast polished/cleaned up, engine bay wiped down and dressed and some touch up work done. I knew it would be a lot of work, so I had Joe(smoknfastlegend) come out and help me with detail; and as always, Joe did great work and was a great help.

Car came out real well and cant wait to see it once he gets the coilovers on and some go-faster parts on. :headbang: Though, I think the toy in the garage was much cooler.

*Edit* Ah just realized you cant see the other toy. Well its a Ducati 898 with full suspension work, upgraded exhaust and upgraded computer.

Yeah, I was amazed at how well they came out to. Even after washing, the wheel guard really brought them out.

Looks like a whole different car underneath all the swirls. Very telling before and afters.

Outstanding work! I was just about to post a black Terminator... but I guess I`ll wait a couple more days to not give people too much SVT at once.

The color is great, and now that it`s been refined, the color looks absolutely outstanding. Great job!

That I am sure of. But still, I am boggled on what was the exact thought at the moment he started buffing the plastic.

Excellent job. The car changes color and gets really deep. Nice!

I know a `detailer` who ruined a Mustang paint job when he hit the sharp creases on this body style with a buffer. Wore the paint down to the primer. Ouch.

Yeah, mustangs do have a lot of sharp edges in some areas. The biggest thing is, most do not know, but the `96-04 mustangs, the plastic air dam on the side can should not be done with a rotary. Its such a extremely thin paint on the plastic that rotaries will burn right through it.

Yeah it was not a fast deal. I popped them off, sprayed the hell out of them with 5:1 Green Clean, let them sit for a few minutes, then misted them again and went to town with Q-Tips. Dry them off, then double check all angles to make sure I got everything, if I missed a spot, spritz some more Green Clean on and go back at it with a Q-Tip. Once I got it all out and it dried off, I coated it with 303 Protectant.
