Hey guys... My ONR supply is running low and I`m about to place an order for more, but noticed the HD Free and 3D Waterless alternatives. It looks like these are both good, but how do they compare to ONR? Is the lubricity as good as ONR in the other two? Can I mix the solution to different strenghts such as clay lube or QD strength?

i wouldn`t give up on the onr just yet. onr can clean a dirty car than the waterless washes can. i have hd free and it works well. it has good lubricity. i thought the hd and 3d stuff came rtu. see no reason you couldn`t use it as a clay lube. you could experiment with the dilution for claying. also optimum makes a waterless wash as well.

Let us know if you try one of the others. I`m still on my second gallon or onr and it has treated me very well so far.

Oh I have ZERO problems with ONR. I`ve just been hearing all these things about 3D and HD products, and just wanted to try them.

the hd free i have works. for the money and time i will continue to use onr. you don`t really gain any time in using a waterless. only takes me a couple more minutes to due an onr wash. i carry waterless wash in the car for bird bombs and such.

I wasn`t looking to save time because I take a while anyways to prevent marring. Just looking to see how good the others are because HD Free and 3D are so much closer to me than ordering ONR from the East Coast.

by all means try them and see if you like it. having tried both waterless and rinse-less i prefer the rinse-less method my self. rumor is 3d is looking/working on a rinse-less wash.

I like using both and have not experienced any problems with the 3DWW. It boils down to your preference of using more water or not. I will say this though....I prefer 3DWW as a clay lube & QD. It beads longer, smells better and leaves the surface much slicker. Gives it more of a "just waxed" look.

so how does the 3dww compare to the hd free?

so how does the 3dww compare to the hd free?

Same formula as the waterless with more liquid wax added.

The HD FREE has more wax than the 3D WW.

How about with KSG or 845?

As long as the wax/sealant has cured, it works fine.

The HD FREE has more wax than the 3D WW.

That explains it then. the original FREE concentrate bottles I originally received work a little different. As soon as I broke into the ballon of WW, I noticed an improvment in slickness, gloss and durablity.
