Just got a new Dodge Durango that`s Stone White. Because it`s been very, very hot...the day it was purchased, I clayed and put 3 coats of Opti-Seal on it (24hrs apart). Now that I can spend some time in the garage, is it ok to apply other sealants over the Opti-Seal?

And do all of you like sealants on the white color or a coat of nuba as a LSP?

OS for the win on white! It doesn`t get any easier. OS is unique as they say you can put it over any wax/sealant, but not sure about putting wax over it instead? I don`t see how it would be any different than people putting wax over any other sealant (for the most part).

I agree with David. OS looks great on white, not sure anything else will make enough of a difference to warrant the effort.

I just got some HD poxy I`d love to try. Can it go over the OS? Is it good on white?

I third that. Hard to top the look of OS on white. I don`t know of anything that looks more wet on white. There are more durable LSP`s but none that are easier. Aquawax also looks great on white.

I`m listening now. Next time I re-LSP the Caddy, I ought to use Opti-Seal. I can just slap it on the `nuba that`s on there now, huh?

Oh boy, another item added to the list. But I`m waiting till Fall, can`t enjoy the results in this weather right now.

Yup, the stuff is so easy to use and produces such good results that I often wonder why I bother with anything else. Its slick, durable, easy, one bottle goes a LONG way and looks great, what more can you ask for?

Bikini strings can mar paint. Unless it`s a microfiber bikini!

Maybe ask her to remove the bikini, just to be sure?

Same here, use it on the vast majority of the details I do. Quick and easy to use, great looks and decent durability. I was applying it to a silver 335 a couple years ago and the customer asked what I was using. Told him what it was and asked him why he wanted to know. He said "just curious, it looks like you are wiping on wetness".
