2005 Lexus ES330. Overall it was in decent condition but hadn`t been deep cleaned in a while. To make matters worse, the owner`s house doesn`t have a garage and the leading edge of their circular drive has 3 large crepe myrtles, the ultimate trash trees. They literally rain sap when they are in bloom and the sun is out and they were in bloom and it was sunny. We had to blow out all the crevices and jambs even before we could start washing.



Gas cap area needed attention:

Optimum Power Clean cut 3:1 in a spray bottle and Optimum No Rinse at wash solution strength (1 oz in 2 gallons of water) and about 2 minutes later:

Optimum Hyper Polish using an orange Optimum cutting pad and my Porter Cable 7424 XP

Collinte 476 Paste Wax

2006 Lexus SC430. I see this car two to three times a year. The owner and his wife do a really good job keeping the car up between details but it did need some extra polishing this time.

Had to take the pictures in the owner`s garage, he has trees that drop sap on his driveway, plus it is hard to get pictures with the sunlight filtering through the leaves.

2011 Audi A4. This car is pretty new, the owner bought it for his son and for now just wanted it protected. He wants to see how well his son takes care of the car before he has it fully detailed. Really didn`t have much in the way of swirls anyway.

Mike - I did a white 02 Accord that had the filler door looking like that. I popped it open and said "***?!" I, too, have no idea how it gets that dirty. I took a similar approach - Meg`s APC, dwell, wash, and a soft brush. Took a couple of hits to get clean.

The fuel filler door was probably the worst I`ve seen, the trunk jamb was in the same condition. Owner`s really don`t have anywhere else to park the car and the sap and crud that rains down from crepe myrtles is the most likely source. We blew off the driveway while working as well, even though we were able to get it out from being directly under the crepe myrtles, the wind was still blowing some of the flowers off them and onto the car and driveway. Pretty sure those trees have been there long before the current owners bought the house.
