I bought some Meguire`s PlastX to brighten up my headlights. Since i had it i did a test spot on my windshield and ended up doing the entire thing.

By the way: This is a free car, that was given to me last week. First on the list is to make it inspection ready which includes the lights and windshield.

Headlights (2 hits with PlastX on an orange pad w/ GGDA)

Windshield (2 Steps, PlastX, Orange then green pad, GGDA)

I used basically the same techniques as paint but i found a little more pressure on a 3 or 4 worked the best.

Free? That`s the best car ever! I`m impressed by the difference in the windshield!

The pictures dont do the windshield justice. This thing was dangerous to drive at night or in rain.

The paint on the car is in just as bad shape as the glass. and it is dinged up to high heaven. I will have to be pretty bored to completly correct it. A free 30mpg car is awesome. My Silvy gets to set in the garage till the weekend and the gas money stays in my wallet.
