Guys, can putting too much pressure on a rotary cause swirls/halograms?

Or vice-versa?

Too much pressure can cause too much heat making the paint too soft leaving swirls. Too light and you may not have uniform pressure causing swirls.

Use enough pressure to lightly compress the pad and you should be fine.

Agree. Let the weight of the machine and your choice of products do the work. If you aren`t getting results then change tools/products.
