2007 Maseratti Gransport. Detailed the owner`s M3 last fall, this time it was the Maseratti`s turn. The owner has decided to sell the car, he wants to expand his business and he says the car really doesn`t have the "soul" he expected and eventually wants to get another 993 Porsche turbo to replace it. A buyer was coming by this afternoon to see the car and as luck would have it, my regular Friday morning customer was out of town for Memorial Day weekend and had canceled our appointment so I was able to take care of the Maseratti instead.

Since time was somewhat tight due to this being a last minute arrangement and the fact the car had only 16,000 miles on it, the time and need factors were both taken care of with a basic (1 polishing step) detail. The car overall was in really terrific condition.

Exterior:

ONR wash, Meguiars white clay

Optimum Hyper Polish using an orange Optimum cutting pad and my PC 7424 XP DA polisher

Optimum Car Wax

Armor All on the tires/fenderwells.

Interior:

Vinyl/leather cleaned with Woolite/water diluted 32:1

Carpets cleaned with BioKleen Traffic Lane Cleaner

Vinyl dressed with Meguiars Interior QD (due to the no gloss appearance requested)

Leather conditioned with Leather Master`s Leather Vital

2005 WRX STi. The main issue the owner wanted resolved were the light spider swirls and buffer trails in the paint.

Thanks, y`all! Very impressed with the new MF pads, the acid test will be Audis since I`ve never had any luck correcting them with a DA, always have had to use a rotary on them.

Glad to be back in action! Shoulder seems to be doing better and better each day. Inside windshields are still tough, used to doing them right handed and reaching across. Still can`t do that so I have to clean them lefty and takes longer to get them streak free. Everything else though, it seems I can do. :)

Excellent work on both Scott. The Meg`s MF system (particular D300/cutting pad) can finish out so well on some paints its amazing. More importantly I am glad to hear you are feeling better and getting back into the swing of things.
