It is supposed to be formulated/developed to work with, among others, the Flex 3401 DA however they seem to emphasize the importance of the backing plate that comes with the system. Obviously the backing plate for the other DA’s won’t fit on the Flex so my question is has anyone used the MF discs and compounds with the Flex and how did it work?

It will work fine on the Flex, but it works better on DA`s like the PC, G110, GGDA.

Thanks Rasky. Have you tried it with the Flex?

I have. I`d stick to it with a PC type of polisher. It works, but the compound is not as aggressive as UNO so I always switch back to a regular wool pad and HD UNO.

Yes. But after trying it on a few test panels I never looked back and recently sold my Flex as I never used it.

The GGDA works great with it!

Try UNO v3 and Megs MF cutting pad. Note-like others have said, clean the pad (compressed air works best) after every panel, work 2`x2` sections.
