I polished this 7 year-old, 100,000mile RX300 last year. Got it looking good.

Come to do it again this year and this is what I found!

Car polished with M105/M205 combo on Green pad w/PC, followed by 205/Blue. Sealed with HD Poxy.

HOLY ****! I hope you asked them what they were washing it with...because they were doing something very wrong. Great turn around.

You were able to remove all the swirl marks with a da pc and a green pad? I use a pc on cars with 105 and a yellow pad and it still does not cut through all the swirls. What is your technique?

Still leaves some RIDs, but Lexus black is soft.

I`d almost be scared to ask what in the world they used to wash that :nervous:

Great save!

:O Oh my God, what was the dealership using!?

I truly hope the owner got the dealer to pay for those repairs, because that is unacceptable to anyone, let alone car and paint enthusiasts. Truly one of the most dramatic corrections I`ve ever seen. Great job, didn`t think that was salvageable. Any idea how much clear was removed?
