can i put a coat of sonax carnauba on top of the synthetic 3m protective coat?

is it possible to combine them without damaging the paint/the finished appearance or getting some kind of reaction between them?

(the customer wants the 3m coat machined onto the car and was wondering if its possible to get that extra glossy look with the carnauba wax over it. i said i honestly dont know cause i never did it and thank god he is a normal person and got a normal reaction on my ignorance. he just smiled for a milisecond and told me to get informed so we can do it if its possible... phew...)

You should be able to, just make sure the protective coat is fully cured first.

i`m having troubles with the time limit the customer has set so its gonna be a bit tough...

so... how long? i can find 1 hour at max for the protective 3m coat to cure, is that going to be enough? would it help to put the car outside the garage after the protective coat?

(as i learned, 30mins should be enough for it to dry out completely and be able to repell water at its full potential without leaving any marks like self-soaking with water and similiar, so 1hour SHOULD be enough... at least i think so)
