Next Door Neighbor used Carb cleaner to take overspray off it left some white stains on the paint How to take off?

Never tried it on paint, but it`s a pretty quick drying solvent. Hmmmm, carb cleaner shouldn`t do all that much damage to paint should it? Did you try anything like a cleaner wax or a light compound to see if the spots go away?
