Working on dark blue SUV (`04 Honda Pilot). There used to be a bumper magnet but a combination of the heat from the sun and dark paint caused a piece of the magnet to melt on.
I`ve tried xenit, but I don`t want to get too aggressive with scraping or scrubbing and risk taking the finish underneath off.

Any ideas?

I can`t see your pics but can you get behind it with fishing line or dental floss and saw it off?

Unfortunately, no. It`s been left alone for so long, the magnet has really melded with the finish. (Sorry about the pictures, I`m new to forum posting and haven`t quite figured it out.)
