1994 Toyota Land Cruiser. Other vehicle is a Bentley Continental GT but for some reason, he really likes this old beast. Only 72k miles on it and overall in really good condition. Lots of dog hair though. Probably enough I could have made my own dog.

ONR wash, Meguiars white clay

Optimum Hyper Polish using an orange Optimum cutting pad and my PC 7242XP

HD Proxy for protection

Armor All for tires/fenderwells/exterior trim.

Other than the dog hair, the interior had just a few stains to take care of.

BioKleen Traffic Lane Cleaner at 32:1 for carpet cleaning

Optimum Protectant Plus to protect the vinyl

Leather Master Leather Vital to condition the leather

1999 Mercedes ML430. Been taking care of this one pretty much since new, though not so regularly since they got an `06 ML500 and passed this one on to their daughters to drive to and from high school. Been sitting around, mostly used as a third vehicle since the youngest daughter is now in college and can`t have a vehicle on campus as a freshman. The owner noticed the paint was getting very swirled and marred from just running it through the car wash the last several months.

As you can see after an ONR wash and white Meguiars clay, definitely some paint issues:

Using Optimum Hyper Compound and a yellow LC CCS cutting pad and my PC 7424XP:

Not sure why the first shot isn`t fully focused, about time for a new camera as that is happening more often. Anyway, after I got a couple panels polished, the sun went away, never to return so that`s it on before and afters.

After the OHC/LC yellow combo,

2008 BMW 328. Owner recently picked it up and wanted it taken a few steps beyond the dealer CPO prep. Glad to see the paint was essentially swirl free but it definitely needed claying.

Um, because they`re awesome. I`d love to have one of those or the previous generation LCs, beautiful vehicles. Great job Scott, you never fail to impress!

They all look great. It`s obvious he (you) have taken really good care of the LC over the years.

+1 If you own one, then you`ll understand the devotion. LC s have a bit of a cult following. Never had an issue with any of mine. Pretty much once an owner always an owner.

Hey Mike, maybe I`m mistaken but do you mod a Mazda forum? Saw someone recently from here, but I can`t remember who it was or which forum either.

Yeah, that`s me. Even though I`m still a mod over there, I haven`t been active on the Mazda3Forums for at least a year, maybe 2. I used to be very active in the "Maintenance & Care" part of the forum that I was asked to mod. But between having a business, having a kid, then selling our Mazda3 about 6 months ago (sad day), I don`t get over there anymore. I`m mshu7 over there as well.

So I hear. Had a customer who had a few Land Cruisers and Lexus LX470s, always raved about them. They definitely seem to hold up well.

To many LC "officiandos", the one you detailed was the last "real" LC, as Toyota dropped the live front axle on the next generation and went with IFS. I used to feel that way, but got over it.

Yup, I just can`t get rid of my 97 4runner, which has similar styling cues. And when it was time for a new car for the wife, I went straight to the GX470. I love the look of all of the fender flares on all of these cars.

Great work, Mercedes and LC look fantastic for a 10+ year old cars.
