So I decided to try to get rid of some swirl marks in my car that was in it when I bought it used. Up until now -- I wouldn`t consider myself a detailer, but would consider myself somebody who liked to wash and wax his car. I use to use liquid glass on it all the time and decided to go w/ Zaino.

I have already orderred the products and they should arrive any time now, so please don`t say -- use this instead -- unless it`s worth not doing what I`m planning.

Blue Dawn Wash thoroughly

Clay bar(Z-18) -- I realize any clay bar could have done here...

Z-PC -- Plan on using a orbital buffer here. Put a tiny bit on and keep buffer until clear...

Z2 -- apply it by hand (very very thin) -- and then wipe off after haze appears.

Z8 -- mist on and wipe off immediately (not allowing it to dry)

Z-CS -- spray on applicator and wipe in overlapping motions to cover area.

Any and All advice is welcome. I have read a lot on this forum and it`s a great information source...

Here are some pictures of the state of the car:

I decided I am going to use some "Griot`s Garage Orbital Machine Polish" before going to the Z-PC. The feedback I got on another forum was the Z-PC was likely not abrasive enough for the hard clearcoat on the car.

Let me know if that stands out as a crazy idea/etc...

Thanks!

Your paint does not look that bad at all, other than some minor swirling. You should be able to get away with using some M205 to finish down to an almost flawless finish; if not wanting to use the Z products to correct.

Before applying the Z2 make sure you give it a wipe down with Z6. Sometimes I even use a little Z6 between coats.

Thanks for the recommendations. I`ll give the Z-PC a whirl and if that isn`t enough go to what you recommended (M205).

Also - will get some Z6 to use in between.
