I just purchased a 1991 Ford T-bird which is blue. All of the top surfaces are mostly white due to no wax being applied for years.

Do you think there is good blue paint under the white? If so,what product or products should I use to get down to the paint?

I presently own a inexpensive buffer that I purchased at Sears a couple of years ago.

I really would like to get the outside surfaces looking good so I do not have to purchase a paint job for the car.

Thanks

If you scrape the paint with your fingernail, do you get tiny white flakes? It probably isn`t savable at that point. If you get no flakes at all, it is possible it can be saved like Barry`s Mercedes.
