1964 Mustang

This car belongs to the owner one of the shops I work for. The owner bought this to resale it and wanted it to look its best for the client that bought the vehicle. The paint was filled with swirl marks and all the chrome was pitted. I performed a 2 step correction on this vehicle. First I used the Flex Light Weight Rotary with 5’’ LC Flat Orange pad and M105 fallowed by Griot Garage DA with 5’’ LC Flat Orange pad and M105. I topped it off with Sully’s Detailing Liquid Wax,

Wash: P21S Taw

Clay: Pinnacle

Clay Lube: DP Rinseless Wash and Glass

Machines Used: Flex Light Weight Rotary and Griot Garage DA

Compound: M105

LSP: Sully’s Detailing Liquid Wax

Metal: Luster Metal Polish

Interior: Meguiars APC+ 4:1

Leather: Poorboy’s World Leather Stuff

Carpets: 6hp Shop Vac

Nice car...still curious about that wax. Also why did you finish down with M105 on a Orange Pad with the DA? Did that not leave some micro marring behind? I just cant imagine that M105 would have finished down correctly with the amount of abresives in it.

There wasn`t really any maring left The orange pads I finished with were a little old and didn`t have the same cut to them as a newer pad would and I started the DA at speed six and worked my way down to 4. This wasn`t a full correction the owner just wanted it to look better to sell it. If it was a full correction I would of fallowed with M205 and a white lc pad and then a black lc pad if needed
