Hi All,

I didn`t know where to post this so I hope its OK here.

My garage is 20X24` and I only have three fixtures (two at the front and one at the rear). I bought 55W 2700K cfl bulbs which kick out HUGE light but are a bit too warm for my liking. The manufacturer also sells 4100K and 5000K bulbs which I was a little apprehensive about trying because I don;t care for the "blueness" of the high color temp bulbs. Maybe I`m making my comparison on cheap older style cfl`s.

Any opinions on the higher color temps?

Thanks,

J.

I use these GE bulbs in my workshop and really like them-

Lamp, F96t12/Sp65, 75 W - Fluorescent Linear Lamps - Lamps - Lighting : Grainger Industrial Supply (http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/GE-LIGHTING-Fluorescent-Lamp-2F061?Pid=search)

I also use these 48" bulbs directly above my workbench-

Full Spectrum Fluorescent Medium Pin (http://www.verilux.com/fluorescent-tubes/fluorescent-medium-pin)

Both put out great light without the "bluish" tint that some of the cheaper bulbs emit.
